Four notes we write before a resort reaches your shortlist

Stroller access, midday shade, food for young children and school-holiday fit are recorded per property, in the same order every time. If we could not confirm a field, it stays marked as unconfirmed rather than guessed.

    Stroller access from lobby to sand

    We record the route itself: lift width, step count, loose sand, and whether the last stretch needs a shuttle. Where a property is reachable only by stairs, the row says so instead of hiding it in a footnote.

    Walk minutes and slope are quoted with every price, never on their own.

  2. 02

    Midday shade between 12:00 and 15:00

    Shade hours count only what is fixed: pergolas, mature palms, awnings. A sunbed moved into the open does not count. Antalya and Hurghada properties are timed the same way so the numbers compare.

    Food that works at 18:00 with tired children

    We note the earliest dinner sitting, whether a separate kids buffet exists, how bottled water is handled under all inclusive, and the distance to the nearest pharmacy or clinic.

    Menu and sitting times are re-read each season, not carried over.

    School-holiday fit
